Nigeria might have imploded if it hadn't been for Buhari's military history - Gov. Ayade

President Buhari's efforts to combat insecurity in Nigeria have been lauded by Governor Ben Ayade of Cross Rivers State, who claims that the country would have crumbled if it weren't for his efforts.

This was stated by the governor on Channels Television today, Wednesday, January 19. He explained that the President's military experience aided in this endeavor.

He claims that there was an international plot against the country, notably in the north.

"Perhaps the country would have imploded at this point if it hadn't been for Buhari's administration, which has a military background." People are unaware of this because if you are able to minimize risk, no one will notice because it was averted. I believe things may have turned out far worse."
